Weekly bookings are from Friday to Friday. Lettings start at 4.30pm* on the day of arrival and end no later than 10am on the day of departure.
Short Break lettings – time of arrival as arranged by prior agreement.

For weekly bookings, more than 6 weeks prior to arrival, a deposit of £100 per each week of hire is payable on booking; the balance being due 6 weeks before arrival. For weekly bookings made 6 weeks or less before arrival, the full amount is payable on booking. Short breaks are payable in full on booking. All prices include the cost of gas and electricity.

Once confirmation of booking is issued the hirer is responsible for the total amount payable. It is therefore advisable for a holiday cancellation insurance scheme to be taken out by the hirer. In the event of a cancellation, should it be possible to re-let Poppy Cottage, the balance will be refunded less a charge for any additional expenses incurred.

Use of Poppy Cottage is entirely at the users’ risk. This includes damage to the users’ belongings, vehicles and vehicle contents**.

The owner reserves the right to cancel a booking at any stage if, for unforeseen circumstances, Poppy Cottage becomes unavailable for hire. In these circumstances as much notice as possible will be given and payment will be returned in full.

Poppy Cottage is not suitable for pets.

Use of Poppy Cottage is restricted to booked guests only. Three bedrooms in the Cottage comfortably accommodate 4 adults/children. Larger numbers, up to a maximum of 6, can be accommodated by prior arrangement.

Smoking is not permitted in Poppy Cottage.

Duvets and pillows are provided. Please bring your own towels, tea-towels, tablecloths. Bed linen can be provided for an additional charge (Hire rates per set-£10 double/£8 single).

The hirer is responsible for Poppy Cottage and its contents throughout the period of hire and as such is expected to take all reasonable care for it.

*Poppies in a vase in the window will indicate Poppy Cottage is ready before 4.30pm
**A parking space is available for ONE car at the end of the terrace.
